About PredictFix
We started PredictFix because we got tired of pillowcases that stretched out, fitted sheets that popped off corners, and fabric that pilled after a few washes. Most bedding looks good in product photos, but after a few months of real use — the loose threads, the faded edges, the elastic that gives up — it becomes clear that it was made to sell, not to last. So we decided to make our own.
We focus on two things: pillowcases and fitted sheets. That’s it. Not duvets, not throws, not decorative shams. Just the pieces that take the most wear and tear. Because if those hold up, the rest of the bed takes care of itself. We build each one to handle the nightly routine — tossing, turning, pillows shoved against headboards, sheets pulled tight by restless legs — without looking worn after six months.
What makes them different
We start with long-staple cotton, woven into a percale that’s crisp but not stiff. The weave is tight enough to feel substantial but open enough to breathe — no night sweats, no clammy spots. For fitted sheets, the elastic is doubled and sewn all the way around the edge, not just at the corners. That means no slipping, no bunching, no waking up with half the mattress exposed.
Pillowcases get the same treatment. The seams are French-sewn, which means the raw edges are completely enclosed — no fraying, no loose threads, no rough spots against your face. The opening is deep enough to fit standard, king, and even oversized pillows without looking baggy. And the closure is a simple envelope fold, not a zipper or buttons that can break or snag.
Materials that work
We use 100% organic cotton, but not because it’s a label we slap on. The longer fibers produce stronger yarns, which means fewer weak spots and less lint. The dye is fiber-reactive — it bonds to the cotton rather than sitting on top. That’s why our navy stays navy and our white stays white, even after a year of weekly washing. We pre-wash everything at the mill, so what you get is exactly what you’ll keep — no shrinkage surprises.
Fitted sheets are available in depths up to 18 inches, including toppers. We know that not every mattress is standard, so we designed the elastic to accommodate both thin and thick profiles. The corners are reinforced with an extra layer of fabric at the stress points — the spots where most sheets tear first.
The value of a good fitted sheet
We don’t believe in replacing bedding every year. A good fitted sheet should last at least five years of regular use. Ours do. The cost per night ends up being negligible, but the comfort difference is noticeable every single night. That’s the math we use — not the lowest price, but the longest lifespan.
We keep our line narrow for a reason. Fewer products mean we can obsess over every detail. We work with one mill — a family-owned operation in Portugal that we’ve visited and audited ourselves. That consistency means you can buy a fitted sheet today and another one next year, and they’ll match in color, feel, and fit.
What users actually tell us
We hear the same thing repeatedly: “I didn’t know a fitted sheet could stay on the bed.” Not in a dramatic way — in a practical, everyday way. We get notes from people who have used our sheets for three years and still use them as their primary set. They mention the elastic, the fabric breathability, and the fact that the pillowcase doesn’t end up twisted inside their pillowcase cover.
- Corner grip — the elastic holds even on deeper mattresses.
- No pilling — after months of washing with towels and denim.
- Color retention — dark colors don’t fade to gray.
- Seam strength — double-stitched hems that stay flat.
We don’t use chatbots or outsourced support. When you email us, you get a response from someone who uses our bedding every day. We answer questions about fabric weight, weave tightness, and sizing — because we know the product from the inside out.
Shipping and returns — no runaround
We ship from a single warehouse in the Midwest. No drop-shipping, no third-party fulfillment that changes week to week. That means your order arrives in consistent packaging, and we know exactly what’s in stock. Standard shipping takes 3–5 business days, with expedited options if you need it sooner.
If a product doesn’t work for you, return it within 60 days. We don’t ask for photos or explanations — just send it back in clean condition, and we’ll issue a refund or exchange. If you’re unsure about fabric feel or size, order one piece first. We’re happy to guide you through material choices before you commit to a full set.
For tracking and delivery updates, use our Track Order page. We send notifications via email, but we know sometimes you just want to check without logging in — so we keep that page simple and direct.
Why we stay small
We’re not backed by private equity. We don’t have investors pushing us to cut costs or expand into categories we don’t understand. That independence lets us make decisions that prioritize longevity over novelty. If a new weave doesn’t pass our wash-test cycle, we don’t release it — even if it looks good in samples.
We also keep packaging to a minimum. No extra plastic, no oversized boxes. Each item comes in a reusable cotton drawstring bag that you can use for storage or travel. It’s a small detail, but it reflects how we think about waste and durability.
Get in touch
We don’t have a call center, but we reply to emails within one business day — usually faster. If you have a question about fabric feel, sizing, or care, just ask. We’d rather you ask before buying than be disappointed after. Reach us through our Contact Us page, or reply directly to your order confirmation email.
